Junior to Mid-Level Copywriter

Overview

FilesAnywhere, a cloud storage company, is seeking a junior to mid-level copywriter to generate smart, original ideas and exciting content for a variety of integrated marketing communications and interactive campaigns, including web and print marketing. Projects will include, but are not limited to, creating, researching, writing and proofreading, and/or contributing to web and social content, e-blasts and newsletters, corporate collateral and communications, help articles and user guides, and video, radio, and television scripts.

 Description

  • Writing content for all print and web marketing initiatives, as well as customer and client communication
  • Maintain brand integrity and voice
  • Translate concepts and deliver key messaging to target audiences
  • Brainstorm creative concepts with the members of the marketing team
  • Research industry trends and competitor positioning
  • Assist in the development and implementation of creative concepts 
  • Perform ongoing rewrites of current material as required
  • Proofreading and fact-checking as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Advertising preferred
  • Excellent writing, communication, grammar, and proofreading skills
  • Deadline oriented, creative, proactive, and works well in a fast-paced team environment

Senior Web Developer

Overview:

We are seeking imaginative, driven developers with diverse experience in developing “Web 2.0” apps using the latest technologies, in a team environment, who have extensive experience in .NET programming. Be an integral part of the FilesAnywhere software engineering team. Maintain and customize software modules already in production as the business scales. Create new cutting-edge web application components and end-user features for the FilesAnywhere.com web application. Software development will be done for a mix of consumer and corporate modules and features. You will contribute to the design of innovative new web software, improve upon existing modules, and solve complex problems. Training and learning about the current system and architecture will be provided.

 Description:

Design, develop, test, maintain, update, and enhance various software modules for Internet-enabled application. You will primarily be developing modules for the FilesAnywhere.com web product. Analyze and help develop functional and technical requirements. Help design the architecture, database layer and middle-tier based on feature requests from consumer users, corporate customers, and the sales/marketing department. Depending on experience, assist with the user experience and front-end as well. Multi-tasking skills and good communications skills are a must.

Qualifications:

Internet Application Development: experience writing web applications for public Internet users (not only Intranet apps). This includes user registration, ecommerce, database interaction, secure login sessions, integration of backend with browser-based interfaces, and related experience.
Team-Oriented Development: Minimum five years working on a development team, including Team Foundation Server and Agile software development methodology. Above all, must enjoy working with a team and be a great team player!

  • ASP.NET: Minimum five years ASP.NET experience, including HTML, JavaScript.
  • VB.NET: Minimum five years VB.NET experience.
  • SQL Server: Minimum five years of experience working with SQL Server databases.
  • AJAX: Minimum three years of experience.
  • JQUERY: Minimum two years of experience.
  • Web Services/SOAP/XML: Minimum three years of experience creating and consuming web services.
  • Web Security: Minimum three years of experience. XSS, SQL Injection, PCI, JavaScript vulnerabilities.
  • IIS: Implementation and Management of IIS 6.5 - 7.0.
  • Documentation skills: Data Diagrams, Object Diagrams, Process Flow, Use case.

Helpful Skills:

The ideal candidate will have a diverse coding background showing a high degree of creativity, quality system design, the use of innovative technologies and efficient methods, and experience working individually as well as on larger development teams. Requires in-depth understanding of optimizing code for fastest performance, utilizing available client-side code and server-side code to achieve the most efficient results.

This position does not require cold calling but you must have strong communication skills as you will be following up with and closing companies that have expressed interest.

Description:

  • Work proactively with Product, Marketing, and Design teams to identify business needs and key product stories. Use data, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and product information to identify selling opportunities.
  • Develop strategic integration partners and work with Infrastructure & Product on implementation.
  • Must be ready to work in a dynamic environment where change is the norm.
  • Utilize provided CRM workflow and documentation standards.
  • Be capable of presenting and articulating the differentiated value of our solution compared to competitors in the market.
  • Understand, and be able to articulate to clients, deployment processes and best practices to lower deployment risk and accelerate time to value.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to sales close. These sales require a slightly longer lead time, so the ability to establish and cultivate relationships with prospects is essential!
  • Must have a customer-oriented mindset.

Product Specialist

Overview:

The Product Specialist provides technical support for custom SaaS software to our customers. The ideal candidate will work with all team members to ensure quick and accurate resolution of customer issues, via phone and email support, and work to establish on-going client relationships.

Description:

  • Be a fast learner and stay current with the latest Web 2.0 offerings.
  • Use data, consumer insights, competitive analysis, and product information to identify selling and support opportunities.
  • Must be ready to work in a dynamic environment where change is the norm.
  • Utilize provided knowledgebase workflow and documentation standards.
  • Work with customers to resolve software issues using e-mail and phone communications.
  • Work with employees to provide desktop support.  
  • Track issues and their resolution in incident management system.
  • Troubleshoot and reproduce existing issues.
  • Work with members of various departments to resolve solution related issues.
  • Regularly update clients regarding the resolution and/or status of pending issues.
  • Train new clients as required. 
  • Assist in building knowledgebase as well as testing for accuracy, functionality & completeness of new solutions and product enhancements.
  • Assist Sales by encouraging client upgrades as well as field consumer Sales calls when necessary.
