To access your settings

1. Log into your account

2. Select the person icon on the upper right-hand side of your screen

 

3. Select My Account

 

4. Then select settings.

 

5. This will open your setting panel.

 

 

1. Security:  The Security tab allows you to change your password and enable Multifactor authentication (if MFA is enabled on your account)

2. User View: This allows you to control what a user can see on the account. Example: Tags, Notes, and Timezones. ( These features have to be enabled)

3. FileShare Links:  Shows you the FileShare links that have been sent out.

4. FileRecieve Links: This shows you the FileRecieve links that have been sent out.

Security

1. My Profile: offers you a quick and easy way to access and change your personal information.

2. What's New: Gives your access to your account, the ability to create support tickets, access to support articles and information on new features as they come available.

3. Old Password: For Security enter your current password here.

4. New Password: What you would like your new password to be.

5. Confirm Password:  Confirm the password you entered, This is to make sure that the new password is typed correctly.

6. Multi-Factor Authentication:  (Must be enabled for the account type) This Is an added layer of security on your account. You will receive a code via text message, email, or phone call. 

7. Update Profile: Acts as a save button and will save all changed settings.

User View

1. My Profile: offers you a quick and easy way to access and change your personal information.

2. What's New:  Gives your access to your account, the ability to create support tickets, access to support articles and information on new features as they come available.

3. Notes: are a great way to record important information or draw attention to a file or folder.   

(Notes must be enabled in the admin panel and or be activated within the user settings.)

4. Tags: Allows you to enter keywords so that you can later search your files and find the information quickly and easily.

5. Time Zone: Set your time zone this allows you to match timezones so they are universal across the account.

6. Update User View: Saves all changes made to this tab.

FileShare Links

1. My Profile: offers you a quick and easy way to access and change your personal information.

2. What's New:  Gives your access to your account, the ability to create support tickets, access to support articles, and information on new features as they come available.

3. Manage Links: This shows the FileShare links on the account.

4.  General: This is where you can access your General Settings

5.  Access: Allows you to Control if the recipient can download or simply view the file, the number of times the File can be downloaded, and if you would like to embed a custom watermark to the file.

6. Cover Page:  With the Cover Page tab you can customize a message to send out with your FileShare

7. Advanced Tab: Where you can access your Advanced Features.

8. Delete: Allows you to delete the selection of FileShare Links (Note this will remove any existing FileShares.

9. Export: Export selected  FileShare links to a .csv file

10. Lock/Unlock: Lock your FileShare Links so they cannot be edited. Unlock them again to edit the links

11. Search: Use the search bar to instantly search files or folders through your entire account

12. Search By Date Range: Search your account by selected dates.

13. Select All:  Will select all FIleShare links.

14. Edit: With Edit, you can change the settings on a FileShare link without having to recreate the link.

15. Shared: Gives the file path for the file share link.

16. To:  Shows the recipient of the FileShare.

17. Lock/Unlock: Lock your FileShare Links so they cannot be edited. Unlock them again to edit the links

18. View Link: This will allow you to see the full FileShare link. Here you can copy the general link or test and ensure all FileShare link settings are as intended.

19. Link Generator: This feature will allow you to create new links for the selected FileShare.

20. Created Date: The Date the FileShare was created.

21. Expires: The date that the FileShare becomes inactive.

22. Notifications: This shows if notifications are turned on for the selected link.

FileRecieve Links

2. What's New:  Gives your access to your account, the ability to create support tickets, access to support articles, and information on new features as they come available.

3. Manage Links: This shows the FileRecieve links on the account.

4. General: This is where you can access your General Settings

5. Advanced Tab: Where you can access your Advanced Features and set up a customer email for FileRecieve Links

6. Delete: Allows you to delete the selection of FileShare Links (Note this will remove the selected  FileRecieve link)

7. Export: Export selected  FileRecieve links to a .csv file.

3. IOS App: Allows you to manage your FilesAnywhere account right from your Apple Device.

4. Andriod App: Allows you to manage your FilesAnywhere account right from your Andriod device.

5. Backup for Windows: Cool Backup allows you to automatically backup local files and folders to your FilesAnywhere Account.

6. CloudSync for Windows: Allows you to synchronize local files and folders with your FilesAnywhere account.

7. Outlook Add-in: Quickly and securely send any size files via email.

8. Backup for Mac: Cool Backup allows you to automatically backup local files and folders to your FilesAnywhere Account.
