FilesAnywhere's improved search feature gives you the ability to quickly sort through your files based on name, folder, date ranges, and more...

 

 

1. Basic: Basic search settings that allow you to search by filetype and folders

2. Advanced: The advanced search feature allows you to search by more detailed criteria like file size, date modified, and more.

3. File type- What type of file you are looking for; for example PDF, .docx, .png, etc. 

4. Search in Folder- This allows you to search a specific folder instead of the whole account.

5. Search in Favorites- This allows you to search for specific Favorites instead of your whole account.

6. Sub-Folders-  References folders that appear underneath a main folder

7. Group Shares- Folders that are shared with others

8. Search- This allows you to search for files and folders throughout your account.

3. Size: You can search your files based on the space it takes up in your account. 

4. Date Modified: The date the file was last altered

5. Tags: This is easily searchable data to help you find files easily

6. Comments: Allows users to add useful information to a file or folder without altering the contents.

7. Metadata: Summarizes basic information about the data that makes tracking and working with the data easier. 

8: Results:  The information that is displayed after your search

9. Search:  Where you will enter information to help you find files and folders.
