Restricting Access Based on the IP Address
Use this feature to restrict access based on the IP address. Only those login attempts originating from IPs which are in the "Allow Entry" IP address list will be permitted to login.
Attempts from any other IPs will be denied access.
Note: This only applies to logins from the User Web Interface, API and the Sync App. It does not apply to logins using FTP, WebDAV and SFTP.
HOW TO RESTRICT LOGIN ACCESS TO THE USER WEB SITE, THE MOBILE APP AND THE SYNC APP BASED ON THE IP ADDRESS
1. Login to the admin console. (Note: you must have edit permissions)
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Go to the bottom of the page.
4. Under the heading "IP ADDRESS RESTRICTIONS", click on the "Add Allow Entry" button.
5. A new screen will pop up.
6. Click on the "Specific IP Address" button.
7. Enter the IP address from which the user will be allowed to login to the User web site, the Mobile App and the Sync App. Then, save the changes.
8. The entered IP address will be added to the allowed list.
9. More IP addresses can be added using the same procedure.
10. Users will not be allowed to login to the User Site, the Mobile App, or the Sync App from a machine which is accessing from any IP address that is not in the allowed list.

2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Go to the bottom of the page.
4. Under the heading "IP ADDRESS RESTRICTIONS", click on the "Add Allow Entry" button.
5. A new screen will pop up.
6. Click on the "IP Address Range" button.
7. Enter the IP address range from which the user will be allowed to login to the User web site, the Mobile App and the Sync App. Then, save the changes.
8. The entered IP address range will be added to the list.
9. More IP addresses ranges can be added using the same procedure.
10. Users will not be allowed to login to the User Site, the Mobile App and the Sync App from a machine which is accessing from any IP address not in the allowed list.
HOW TO REMOVE ONE OR MORE IP ADDRESSES FROM THE ALLOWED LIST
1. Login to the admin console. (Note: you must have edit permissions)
2. Click on the Security tab.
3. Go to the bottom of the page.
4. Under the heading "IP ADDRESS RESTRICTIONS", select the IP addresses from the Allowed IP list that needs to be removed. You can also select the checkbox at the top to select all the IP Address from the Allowed IP addresses.
5. Click on the "Remove Selected" button to remove the selected specific IP address or range.
