Managing your documents has never been easier than it is now with Automatic Document Recognition. Our ADR tool allows you to track and manage any file that has been uploaded, copied, or moved based on the ADR folder settings. ADR is designed to allow you easier tracking on any or all incoming files with just a few clicks.
Our document recognition feature has the capability to not only Copy/Move a file to a folder, but also Send Email Notifications, Create and Share FileShare link, and Submit data for an existing eForm or Workflow.

How to Create ADR Triggers
We offer two simple ways to create ADR triggers for folders. You can either right click on a folder or you can navigate to the ADR Management grid from the Hamburger menu.
Note: You can only create ADR triggers on folders you own or have been granted Master Access with.
Note: ADR is not available for Business Starter plans
Note: You may configure an ADR trigger for sub-folders, however any ADR trigger made on the parent folder will automatically override the subfolder's ADR trigger
Action Menu
- Log in your account
- Either right click on the folder or click on the action menu button on the right-hand side
- Once the action menu appears, navigate to More -> Tools -> ADR Trigger
- This will pull up the Add a New ADR Trigger window
Hamburger Menu
- Log into your account
- On the top right of the browser window, click on the Hamburger Menu
- From the Hamburger Menu, navigate to Tools -> ADR Triggers
- This will take you to the ADR Trigger Management grid
- From here you can click on the Add ADR Trigger button to create a new trigger on the folder of your choice
ADR Trigger Overview
- Trigger Name - This will be the name of the trigger that you are creating and will be searchable in the ADR Trigger Management grid.

Trigger Type - These conditions define what actions will activate the trigger to run.
- Upload - When a file is uploaded by any means including directly by a user, FileReceive, FTPS, SFTP, eForm, or Workflow.
- Move - When a file is moved into the folder.
- Copy - When a file is copied into the folder.
- Rename - When a file is renamed within the folder.
- Add/Edit Tag - When a tag is added or edited on a file within the folder.

Choose a Folder - You can select a folder the ADR trigger is created on.
Note: You can only create ADR triggers on folders you own or have been granted Master Access with.
- Include Sub Folders - This will determine if the trigger watches only the primary directory of the folder or also includes the sub directories as well.

Satisfy ALL of the following requirements - All of the created requirements must be satisifed before the trigger will activate.
- File Size - The file size can be less than, greater than, or equal to the amount specified.
- File Tag - This will focus on the tags added to files.
- File Type - This will allow only certain file types to activate the trigger.
- Satisfy ANY of the following requirements - The same as the above, with the primary difference being that any requirement listed can activate the trigger.

Perform these actions - The trigger will execute the actions in the order they are listed.
- Copy File To Folder - This will copy the file(s) to another locaton. You can also decide if the folder structure should remain intact.
- Create and Share FileShare Link - This will create a FileShare link and email it to a specific user or email address.
- Submit eForm Data/Generate a Ticket - This will fill out the selected eForm/Workflow ticket information when activated.

Move File To Folder - This will move the file(s) to another location. You can also decide if the folder structure should remain intact.
Note: Move and Create File Share Link action cannot be performed simultaneously in an ADR trigger. - Send Email Notification To - This will send a custom email to a specific user or email address.
