FileZilla - How to adjust the timeout setting

Within FileZilla there is a default setting that manages the timeout of a connection.  Sometimes, users with large numbers of files or an extensive directory may need to increase or disable this setting.

Here's how you do it.

1) Open FileZilla

2) At the top, click on Edit and then select Settings... from the drop down menu.

3) On the screen that pops up the connection settings are selected by default and the timeout setting is on the right.

4) You can increase the timeout as much as you want, or you can even disable it by entering zero into the box.

5) Once you have made your changes, press OK in the bottom left of the popup window.
