What Is SSH Key Support?
SSH (Secure Shell) key authentication is a widely used security protocol that allows users to establish secure connections to remote servers without using passwords. Instead of relying on standard login credentials, SSH keys provide public-private key pair authentication, which helps minimize unauthorized access and simplifies automated file transfers through SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).
This feature is ideal for:
- IT teams looking to automate SFTP processes
- Organizations with enhanced security requirements
-
Users who want to avoid password-based logins
