New Look: MFA for Business Starter Plans

We're pleased to introduce Multi-Factor Authentication for Business Starter plans.  This new offering brings added security and piece of mind to all users.

Enable MFA

  1. Go to www.filesanywhere.com and sign into your account
  2. In the top right-hand corner, click on the My Profile icon
  3. Click on My Account from the menu
  4. On the left-hand side, click on Settings
  5. Then click on Security
  6. In the middle, under MULTI-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION, click on Enable
  7. Select your delivery method (Email or Authenticator App)
  8. Save your changes

 

 

MFA Options

We offer two Multi-Factor Authentication options for Business Starter plans.

  • Email - This will instruct the system to send a security code to your primary email address.
  • Authenticator App - This will instruct the system to prompt the user to sync up with a QR code for their authenticator and then subsequent logins will request the code from the authenticator.
