New Look: Interactive Storage Chart

Need to check your storage usage in a quick and easy to read display.  Take a look at the Interactive Storage Chart in your account.

What is the Interactive Storage Chart

The Interactive Storage Chart is designed to showcase the storage usage of an account by showing the storage usage of folders in the account in the display type selected.

 

 

How to access the Interactive Storage Chart

  1. Log into your account
  2. On the left-hand side, under your account name, click on the Storage Chart button

Storage Overview

  1. Breadcrumb - This will display the folder path that you are currently viewing with the chart
  2. Back to Home - This will take you out of the Interactive Storage Chart and back to your files
  3. Refresh - Since the Interactive Storage Chart is not updated in real-time, you can refresh the chart by pressing this button
  4. Display - You can filter your display by selecting:
    1. Folders with files - This will only display folders with files
    2. Folders without files - This will only display empty folders
    3. All - This will display all folders regardless of content
  5. Charts - This will change how the data is displayed
    1. Storage - This is your default view and sorts your folders by storage size
    2. Hierarchial - This sorts your folders by their normal tiered order
    3. Treemap - This displays your hierarchical folders as a set of nested rectangles and the size of each rectangle is proportional to their content size
    4. Bar - This displays your folders as a bar graph
    5. Pie - This displays your folders as a pie chart
  6. Export - Use this to export your chart to a CSV file
  7. Search - Use this to search for folder names
  8. Folder Name - The name of the folder and subsequent path associated with it
  9. Size - Size of the folder
  10. Folders - Number of folders (including nested folders) within the folder
  11. Files - Number of files in the folder
  12. Last Modified - When the folder was last modified.
  13. Action - Clicking on this button (or right-clicking on the folder) will pull up the Open Folder option to navigate away from the Integrated Storage Chart to view the contents of the folder

Hierarchial Overview

  1. Breadcrumb - This will display the folder path that you are currently viewing with the chart
  2. Back to Home - This will take you out of the Interactive Storage Chart and back to your files

  6. Mouse Over - When you mouse over a folder and keep it there you'll see a popup.  This popup gives you the following information and actions:
    1. Folder Name - Displays the name of the folder
    2. Total Files - Displays the number of files contained within this folder
    3. Sub Folders - Displays the number of sub folders contained within this folder
    4. Folder Size - Displays the folder content size
    5. Open Folder - Clicking the hyperlink will navigate away from the Treemap chart to view the contents of the folder
