eForms - Upload Field Overview

The upload field is now more diverse than ever with added features for your needs.  In addition to the standard options for all fields like adjusting the label, adding instructions, etc.  There are these additional items mentioned below.

Destination

Select the location in your account that you want the files to upload into.  By default it goes into a folder called "- eForm".

Number of Files

Set the number of files that get uploaded per submission.  You can restrict it to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 10.  Or you can set it to "Unlimited" depending on your needs.

Allow Folder Upload

Allows a guest to select an entire folder instead of having to pick individual files for upload.

Show Images in PDF export

Display uploaded images in the pdf export of the submission.

Note: If this is set to "No", the following will not be accessible:

  • Image Size
  • Display Notes in PDF export
  • Enable image links in PDF export
  •  Image Link Security
  • Display image metadata in exports
  • Metadata Display Format

Image Size

Adjust the ideal size for the images being dispalyed in the PDF export.

Display Notes in PDF export

Turn on the Notes that have been added for various images, so that they also display in the PDF export.

Enable image links in PDF export

Link each image to a full size version of them within the PDF export

Note: If this is turned Off then "Image Link Security" will not appear

Decide if image links should be accessible without someone having to log into their FilesAnywhere account or not.

Display image metadata in exports

When enabled, set up how you want existing image metadata to be displayed in the PDF export.

Note: If this is turned "off" then Metadata Display Format will not appear.

Metadata Display Format

Set up the placeholders and the description text that will appear for the metadata being displayed next to images in the PDF export.

Associate with Field

Direct uploaded files into a subfolder based on input from an existing field that is supported.
