eForms is a form building module that comes standard with every FilesAnywhere Business Starter, Professional or Enterprise account. From surveys and forms, to questionnaires and quizzes, design your forms, send them to anyone, collect and manage responses, and analyze the information.
Log in to your account
Click on the hamburger menu in the top right "More Options"
Mouse over eForms
Click on Dashboard
This will take you to the eForm Dashboard, from where you can create, view, or manage eForms in your account.
To edit any pre-existing eForm, mouse over the form and click on the pencil icon on the right.
To create a new eForm, click on the click the Create button to begin.
Choose your starting point
From here you can choose a :
- Blank eForm - Start fresh and build a form from the ground up
- Blank Workflow - Only Available in Professional accounts. Start fresh and build a form with a workflow from the ground p. This will allow you to create and manage tickets.
- Copy - Select one of your existing forms as a base.
- Template - Select from the available templates and customize as per your requirements.
Setup your blank form
Enter the form Name and a form Description. Then decide if you want to share this form with other users on your account or allow guests to enter submissions.
There won’t be any pre-existing built in fields because the eForm is completely customizable and guided by your needs. On the right hand side of the screen there are two types of fields you can choose from: Standard Fields and Advanced fields.
Click on any of the fields to add it to your eForm. Remember, each of these different fields, Standard and Advanced, are fully customizable. For more information on the Standard and Advanced Fields Configuration, click here.
Once you’ve picked a few of the fields and customized their contents, click on the View button to view the eForm as its recipients will see it.
Your form will appear in another tab in your browser which you may close after viewing the eForm.
If after viewing the preview you are dissatisfied with one of the fields, move your cursor over the field.
You can choose to Edit, Copy, or Delete the field.
Field Permissions
Here you can setup the field permission as Editable, Read-only or Hidden for users, restricted users, or guests.
Hover over the field to see the options to change the field permission.
Advanced Options>> click on the hamburger icon to the right. This provides you a detailed view to set different field permissions as per the type of the use.
- User View – This view is applicable to the logged-in shared users.
- Restricted View – This view is applicable to the logged-in shared users to whom the eForm is shared with restrict data view access.
- Guest View – This view is applicable to the external users that submit eForm data using the generic form link.
Personalize
Customize - You can customize the Header, Cover Page, Labels, Thank You page, or PDF Exports.
Custom HTML - Here you can upload your pre-designed forms and use them with the eForm module.
Using this path-breaking Custom Form Layout module, you can associate existing eForm fields with fields on custom designed PDF or HTML forms so that when data is submitted, it is accepted into the custom designed form instead of the standard eForm. Submitted data can also be exported out into these custom designed forms.

Settings
Once you are satisfied with your eForm, go to the eForm Settings.
From the settings you can:

Users & Security - Manage Security, Users, Groups and Permissions
- Security - Tools to manage user access offering various authentication methods, and additional requirements
- Users & Permission - Manage which users have access to this form and what level of form permissions they are granted. Note: Form permissions do not override field permissions
- eForm Groups - Organize shared users into custom groups as needed. These groups will appear in the Assigned To field

Advanced Settings - Manage field condational logic and unique data
- Conditional Logic - Define logical rules to hide field based on response of other fields
- Unique Data - Define the fields or a combination of fields whose values will be unique within all submissions. Note: Fields once selected as Unique will be marked as Required.
- Forms & Folders - Assign your form to an existing folder or create a new one
- Notifications & Downloads - Receive notifications when your links are accessed and determine the download format
- eForm Links - Copy and paste the code snippet that best suits your needs
- Send eForm - Share your form with a link
- Link History - History of the links sent from Send eForm
Lock / Unlock eForm
Back on the eForm Dashboard, you can lock or unlock the eForm using the below option:
Lock: Once eForm is locked; you are no longer able to submit the data for such eForm.
Unlock: For already locked eForm; you may use unlock eForm option to make it available for data submission.
You’ve finished creating an eForm, but don’t fret if you find something you want to change down the road. You can always go back and edit a completed form. To learn more about the settings click here.
